Chromeless is a free and open-source app for Mac, PC & Linux computers that lets you create a Chromium-based app (also known as site-specific browser, chromeless app, Chrome-based app, Edge-based app) out of any website or web application, effectively turning your favorite web apps into self-contained, distraction-free desktop apps, all powered by your daily web browsers - including:
Site-specific browser (SSB) is a software application that is dedicated to accessing pages from a single source (site) on a computer network such as the Internet or a private intranet. Your favorite apps now have a permanent home on your Mac and PC as a desktop application that appears in your dock or taskbar. Additionally, every app is isolated from each other, running in its own container - effectively protecting you from cross-site trackers.
Tabbed Apps: Chromeless also lets you create tabbed apps featuring a traditional browser style window - giving advanced users more options to customize workflows.
